River's Edge Community Church
Oella, MD, USA
Job Type: Solo Pastor
Other Details

River’s Edge Community Church is an ECO Presbyterian church whose founding pastor is retiring after over 20 years of ministry.

About

We are a close-knit, faith-driven congregation seeking an authentic and visionary individual to pastor our small church into its next season of growth and spiritual impact. Rooted in love for our local community and a heart for global missions, we are praying for a leader who will walk with us in grace, wisdom, and purpose. River’s Edge Community Church (RECC), founded in 2002, is led by the founding and current pastor who is seeking to retire on/around July 2026, with the hope of an overlap with a successor from the call until his retirement. Formed as a missional church, RECC desires to serve our local community and support Christ-centered organizations throughout the world. Since the church’s beginning, we have engaged with our neighbors, and this focus continues to this day. Currently we support local ministries meeting diverse needs, serve in community events, and host community gatherings.
Beyond our community, our heart has long been drawn to international ministries. In 2005 we hired a full-time International Director of Ministries who served our congregation for many years, especially ministering to a vibrant Chinese community in the area. In the past we sent or supported missions abroad. Currently we support ministries such as the Salaam Center – a local ministry to Arabic-speaking immigrants and refugees – and World Vision.
