Settled Pastor, First Trinitarian Congregational Church of Scituate, MA

First Trinitarian Congregational Church of Scituate, Massachusetts (FTCC) seeks a full-time settled pastor.  A leading Christian presence since its founding in 1634, FTCC is located in the picturesque coastal town of Scituate, 25 miles south of Boston. We are a caring community with a new Senior Center and Library, active service and volunteer groups including Community Christmas, a Food Pantry and an excellent school system. Our harbor offers boutique shopping, upscale restaurants, art galleries and a scenic view full of sailboats, lobster boats and the oldest lighthouse in the country.

We are seeking an individual with a preeminent desire to share Christ’s love and grow our community of Christians, with demonstrated skills in the following areas:

• Scripturally based sermons presented with relevance and humor
• Pastoral care, visitation, and counseling to our congregation and beyond our walls
• Innovative programs and classes for children, youth, confirmands and adults
• Participation in local interfaith community events, meetings and engagements
• Guidance to Church Council, lay and Ministry Team in their leadership roles
• Lead the rebuilding and recovery of FTCC stemming from the pandemic

Total compensation up to $120k per year commiserate with experience; benefits to be determined.  Start date expected by the fall of 2025.
