Note about this Role:
We are seeking a full-time Worship and Cove Student Coordinator with experience in both leading worship and working with students. However, we understand that every candidate brings unique skills to the table. If you have a strong background in leading worship but do not have extensive experience with student ministry or a strong background in student ministry but do not have experience in leading worship, we are open to considering you for a modified role. Below is the job description for the role:
Summary:
The Worship and Cove Student Coordinator will help fulfill The Cove Church’s mission by guiding students in their discipleship journey through Bible instruction and personal role-modeling. Partnering with parents, the coordinator will create an age-appropriate environment for worship and teaching, making learning fun and relevant. Additionally, they will collaborate with the Worship & Production teams to create environments where people can encounter God, including during Weekend Services. Build teams for worship for student services, weekend services, and student leaders to build relationships with students. All staff are committed to Introducing our friends to Jesus, Learning to follow Him, and Celebrating His presence in our lives.

Primary Responsibilities Worship
- Carry the vision of The Cove Church through the Worship Ministry.
- Develop skills in key tools (PCO, Ableton Live, Pro Presenter).
- Collaborate with Worship & Production Teams to plan and implement worship services at the campus.
- Build relationships with volunteers and support volunteer training within the campus.
- Lead the weekend worship services and student services at the campus.
- Provide administrative and weekend support for the campus Worship Team.
- Assist in fostering a collaborative culture with campus staff and leadership.
- Build teams for worship in weekend services and student services (recruit, train, develop, and care).
- Participate in special events, set builds, and other tasks as needed at the campus.
- Adapt the worship style and song selection to meet the needs of the people being led in worship.
Primary Responsibilities Students
- Actively participate in spiritual development and operations within student ministries.
- Attend and engage in all student ministry events and activities.
- Mentor, train, and oversee the placement of student ministry team members.
- Create, prepare, and deliver messages for the student mid-week service.
- Assist with planning, development, and oversight of student mid-week programming.
- Care for and disciple the student leadership team for individual spiritual growth.
- Ensure mid-week program areas are well-maintained for weekday ministries.
- Act as a liaison with the safety team and support campus needs during the week and weekend.
- Plan and implement community outreach activities and engage with school campuses when time allows.
- Build teams for excellence during student services and continued relationships with students (recruit, train, develop, and care).
