We are looking for a Worship Leader who can lead us through music and prayer to encounter God and glorify Him in our worship service
Worship Leader Job Description
Part time –Salary based on average 20 hours per week
Reports to Lead Pastor
Purpose: To work alongside the Lead Pastor in carrying out the vision for the worship services. The Worship Leader coordinates, plans and provides leadership and music for the worship services.
Qualifications:
- A follower of Jesus and His way of life of loving God, loving others and making disciples.
- A heart to lead people in worship.
- Demonstrated skill and experience in planning, preparing and leading worship services; gifted vocally, and proficiency with a guitar and/or piano/keyboard.
- Capable of leading volunteers and teams both technically and spiritually, to excellence in their calling.
- Able to manage time efficiently and effectively.
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Committed to confidentiality in church related matters.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and lead worship each Sunday or make plans for when away.
- Collaborate with Pastoral team to plan services including other special worship services (e.g. prayer services, funerals, holiday services).
- Attend the weekly in person All Staff meeting.
- Manage Planning Center “Services” module.
- Coordinate, plan and lead practice of instrumentalists and vocalists for worship services.
- Oversee the Media Team.
- Oversee ProPresenter slides for services as well as of audio and video from the Sunday service.
- Mange the Worship budget, process invoices, manage Tech subscriptions (e.g. Spotify, ProPresenter, Vimeo, CCLI).
- Collaborate with Lead Pastor on Worship equipment maintenance, repair, or replacement.
