Sturtevant Chapel is a well established evangelical church located in Keene NH that has been ministering in the city for over 130 years.  Sturtevant Chapel desires to learn God’s Word though Sunday morning worship, small groups, and discipleship opportunities.  The chapel desires to live God’s love by being missional in our community.

We are seeking a candidate that has a love for youth and children and has a desire for them to learn God’s Word and walk in obedience.  We are also hoping this candidate can help lead our church during our worship services.  We are hoping the candidate will have a proficient ability to play either guitar or piano.

As we review resumes, we are looking for a youth leader candidate to:

• Serve as the director of the youth division of the church ( birth through high school).  This would include Sunday school, kids ministries, and youth ministry.
• Equip people to help minister to the various age groups.  This would include equipping teachers, helpers, and various volunteers for special ministry opportunities.
• Organize a Youth Sunday service.
• Ensure our children and youth are learning God’s Word on an age appropriate level.  Secondly, there is communication so the parents can follow up at home and continue to disciple their children throughout the week.
• Participate in our youth and children’s outreach (called Kidz Konnection).  When appropriate, prepare a Bible study or encourage and equip a leader to prepare the study.
• The youth leader shall make himself or herself available to the young people to offer Biblical guidance about problems, their life’s work and other related needs. When appropriate, offer suggestions about Christian colleges or other job opportunities in the area.
• Be available and provide care for those children and youth who are hurting.  He or she shall also be able to lead someone to salvation through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ.
• Offer opportunities to reach into the community in order to share the Gospel.  This can be through special events or outreaches or through helping at a local school.
• Be available and feel comfortable meeting with children and youth in their homes for visitation.
• Organize a youth winter retreat and a youth mission trip during the summer.

As we review resumes, we are for a worship leader candidate to:

• Have a Biblical philosophy of music and be proficient in either guitar or piano.
• Desire to equip people to help with the music or visual ministry of the chapel.
• Be comfortable with contemporary and traditional music sets.
• Be able to work with the senior pastor to create a weekly worship set.
• Be familiar with Easy worship and PowerPoint.
