First Baptist Church of San Angelo is seeking a Youth Pastor to disciple and lead middle school and high school students under the leadership of the Senior Pastor. This role focuses on spiritual growth, discipleship, outreach, and leadership development while engaging students and their families in the life of the church. The Youth Ministry at FBC has faced many challenges over the past 15-20 years, but over the past 3 years a rebuilding process has begun. We are seeking a visionary leader who can build on the past three years of growth to reach more students of all ages.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and lead weekly youth ministry, Bible studies, retreats, mission trips, and outreach events
• Disciple students and equip parents in spiritual leadership at home
• Provide pastoral care through counseling, visitation, and crisis support
• Recruit and mentor volunteer leaders to serve in the student ministry
• Collaborate with church leadership on student worship, education, and service
• Oversee and manage the youth ministry budget
• Assist the Senior Pastor with pastoral duties, including preaching, counseling, and church ordinances as needed
