About Us: Christ Church Anglican is an evangelical, High-Church Anglican community dedicated to nurturing a vibrant Christian spiritual life, particularly among our youth. We are in search of a Youth Director who shares our values and can mentor our students in their spiritual growth and journey with Jesus Christ. 

The Vision: Youth Ministries aims to nurture committed disciples of Jesus, empowering them to shine as lights of Christ’s love to the world. We strive to cultivate a community of young believers deeply rooted in Christ and His teachings, equipped with a solid understanding of scripture. This involves grasping the biblical narrative, teachings, theology, and key principles, as well as recognizing overarching themes and theological concepts. The ideal candidate will effectively convey these truths to our youth, guiding them to explore, understand, and apply scripture in their daily lives. Our goal is for students to develop a personal relationship with Jesus based on a firm grasp of the gospel. Upon completing Youth Ministries, they should be proficient in reading, interpreting, and applying God’s Word to their lives. They will also embrace personal spiritual disciplines, adopt a rule of life, and cultivate a balanced spiritual practice. Additionally, students will be prepared to articulate and defend their faith in an increasingly complex and skeptical world. 

Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate for the Youth Director role at Christ Church Anglican should wholeheartedly love the Lord, His Word, and care deeply for the Body of Christ. They must exemplify humility, integrity, and ethical conduct in all aspects of their life and ministry, leading by example. Driven by love and committed to personal growth, they should embrace servant leadership, prioritizing the well-being of others over personal desires. Dedicated to guiding youth in their spiritual journey, the candidate should exhibit discernment in media consumption, aligning choices with Christian values. With a robust background in theology or Youth Ministry and a deep understanding of Anglican traditions, the candidate should possess proven experience in youth ministry, capable of designing effective programs and engaging young people in church activities. They should embody spiritual maturity, cultural sensitivity, and a commitment to safety while demonstrating adaptability, enthusiasm, and visionary leadership in nurturing young believers and fostering inclusive environments within the youth ministry.
