Living Water Bible Church is looking for a part-time Youth Ministry Assistant to help support our student ministry alongside our Youth Pastor.

We’re seeking individuals that are eager to explore their calling into Youth Ministry. We hope that our assistant will be equipped, stretched, and coached to serve and lead in the Church.

The Youth Ministry Assistant will gain valuable training, hands-on direct ministry experience, and also opportunities to test their ideas and strategies for their future ministries.  We hope to give them opportunities to use their giftings as well as grow in areas that need development.

Reasonable travel reimbursement and weekend housing is available.

Requirements:
A heart for student ministry

Preferred (Not required):

• Proficiency in Mandarin
• Pursuing a ministry degree
• Experience in Youth Ministry

Expectations/Responsibilities

• Preaching (min. 1/month)
• Work with Youth Pastor to prepare Friday Night and Sunday School materials.
• Lead a Small Group
• Co-Teach Sunday School
• Discipleship
• Student Leadership Development

Because this position is meant to train and develop the assistant, we would also like to give the opportunity to pursue a ministry related “passion” or personal development project periodically.

About Us
Resonance is the student ministry of Living Water Bible Church in San Diego.  We are a primarily mandarin speaking Chinese immigrant church and our ministry is mostly made up of English speaking first generation Chinese Americans.  We meet on Friday evenings (7:30-9:30pm) and Sunday mornings (9:30-11:45am).  Our student ministry attendance is 15-20 students.
