Job Title: Pastor for Cantonese Ministries

About Us:

We are a vibrant, multigenerational Chinese heritage church dedicated to making disciples. There are three ministries in our church, Mandarin, Cantonese and English. We have averaged approximately 270 attendees in our Sunday services – 180 in Mandarin service, 45 in Cantonese service and 45 in our English International Ministry, and also has 70 in Youth and Children Ministry. Our Cantonese congregation seeks a shepherd to guide our spiritual growth and community outreach.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver weekly sermons in Cantonese;
• Provide leadership training and development; including discipleship training;
• Lead outreach activities in our local blue collar base community
• Provide pastoral care, visitation, and spiritual counseling;
• Supervise and participate regular and special events; and
• Provided necessary administration

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree from or equivalent from a Christian accredited seminary.
• Fluent in spoken and written Cantonese; proficient in English.
• Some pastoral experience in a Chinese-North American context is a plus.
