Eliot Presbyterian Church

Eliot Church is a diverse community of followers of Jesus Christ, working together to share God’s love.

Our 98 members include people from Cambodia, Ghana, Liberia, Cameroon, Taiwan, and Brazil, as well as people born in the US. We are an urban church near downtown Lowell, Mass; our primary outreach ministry is a Day Center for homeless individuals.

We are seeking a full-time Pastor. who will be responsible for five areas of church life:

  • Planning the worship services and preaching, teaching the word of God
  • Providing spiritual care during office hours and in times of emergency
  • Creating opportunities for Bible study and prayer
  • Developing a vision for the future of our ministries both within the church and to our neighbors
  • Leadership development — serving as head of staff, as well as training Elders, Deacons, and other leaders
