Youth Pastor or Youth Director

We are prayerfully seeking a part-time youth pastor or youth director with a heart for reaching, teaching, and discipling the next generation. This person will help lead our youth ministry and nurture young people in their faith journey.

Qualifications:

• Committed follower of Christ with a passion for youth ministry
• Experience teaching Sunday school and leading youth groups
• Able to communicate effectively in English
• Able to build meaningful relationships with youth and families
• Ministry training or experience preferred

Role:

• Teaching Sunday school and Bible studies for youth
• Leading and developing the youth group ministry
• Mentoring and discipling students in their faith
• Partnering with parents and the church community to support youth spiritual growth

About the Church:

Founded in 2008 in Basking Ridge and later relocated to Warren, New Jersey, Emmanuel Chinese Christian Church has continually experienced God’s faithful provision. Though small in number, God blessed us with our own church property, converted from a single family house on six acres of land. Truly, our name Emmanuel (“God with us”) has been our testimony from the beginning. Senior Pastor Rev. Dr. Ke‑Chiang Albert Li brings over 30 years of pastoral experience, with an M.Div. from Alliance Theological Seminary and a Doctorate from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in leadership and ministry management. His passion is to equip the next generation of church leaders and help them thrive in God’s calling. Associate Pastor Matthew Lau joined the church in 2022 and is a M.Div. graduate of Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary. In addition to serving at ECCC, he is also a Continuing Care Chaplain for a senior residence.

Our church vision is “A Family Revealing God’s Grace and Glory.” We are a spiritual family with Christ as the head of the house, overflowing with God’s love and overcoming cultural and generational challenges. We seek to live out the life of Emmanuel—God with us—so that His grace and glory may be revealed through us.
