Church Custodian

First Presbyterian Church is looking to hire a Custodian to care for our buildings. This will involve weekly cleaning of the facilities and set up of multiple spaces for Sunday worship and Sunday school. It also involves opening the building for various events and closing it up at the end of the day. Typically the work takes 15-20 hours per week. In exchange for this work you will receive free or reduced rent in one of the church on-site apartments.

The Custodian is responsible for the regular cleaning, set up and preparation of the building for Sunday worship and weekly activities, as well as opening the buildings for programs and activities and closing and securing them at night. The weekly duties generally take 15-20 hours per week, and there is the opportunity to live onsite, in one of the church apartments at reduced rent.
