Campus Minister

This is a Full-Time position in SPECIFIC locations.

Role Summary:

A Campus Minister works to start and grow Communities of Evangelism and Communities of Discipleship among students. The goal is to intentionally reach not‑yet‑Christian students and help young believers grow in faith and leadership, so that a student‑led ministry—where students share the gospel and disciple other students—is thriving.

Typical Areas of Focus:

• Build relationships with students for the purpose of sharing Christ.
• Intentionally disciple and mentor Christian students in their faith.
• Invite students into connection and community for support, accountability, growth, friendship, and mission.
• Meet with the campus staff team and lead campus minister for planning, encouragement and prayer.
• Use your spiritual gifts and special skills in ministry that will further the Kingdom impact of that ministry on campus.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Calling: A clear, sustained burden from the Lord for College Students.
• Capacity: A proven track record of fruitful ministry, particularly in evangelism, discipleship.
• Character: A life above reproach, spiritually mature, rooted in Scripture and prayer, with strong affirmation from your pastor and references.
• Competency: A self‑starter and team-player with a teachable spirit.
• Influence: Respected within your church; able to build trust and mobilize others.
• Team Heart: A desire to partner closely with a Lead Campus Minister, Missions Door and local churches, valuing shared vision over personal platform.

Partnership & Support:
This is a missionary role with Missions Door. Candidates will:

Be commissioned as a missionary while remaining rooted in their local context.
Receive coaching, accountability, and connection with Lead Campus Minister.
Engage in partnership development to build a team of prayer and financial supporters.

This is a fully self-funded role.
