Assistant Pastor

Assistant to the Sr. Pastor
Spirit-filled individual to join Trinity Christian Fellowship as Assistant Worship Pastor. This position will play a key role in leading and developing our worship ministry, helping foster a culture of authentic worship.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with and support the Senior Pastor and church council planning, organizing, and executing worship services and designated church events. Responsible to the Senior Pastor.
  • Lead worship monthly and as needed in other church events, as directed. Includes liturgy at designated worship services, serving the sacraments.
  • Available to the TCF members and friends for pastoral counseling, home and hospital visitation.
  • Completes communication as needed, exhibits organizational, and leadership skills, working and developing a heart of the vision of Trinity Christian Fellowship.
  • Develop and disciple the worship team and choir, alongside the Senior Pastor, to foster a culture of excellence, teamwork, and spiritual growth within the life of Trinity Christian Fellowship.
  • Help with recruitment, training, and equipping worship team and choir volunteer volunteers including instrumentalists and vocalists.
  • Assist in planning and leading special events, combined worship services, including those required by Senior Pastor and/or church council.
  • Maintain an environment of prayer, fasting, and worship, in alignment with the values of Trinity Christian Fellowship including the empowering presence of the Holy Spirit in all ministry activities.
  • Support and engage with the church community which includes committees helping foster a culture of unity working towards the mission of Trinity Christian Fellowship by demonstrating the humility and grace of Jesus Christ.
  • Maintain a personal lifestyle and ministry that reflects Jesus Christ.

Requirements

This is an ordained position.

  • College degree, A Master’s of Divinity or a Master’s of Theology, Religion, Ministry or may be working toward said degree.
  • Proficiency in playing piano, with strong vocal abilities.
  • Strong understanding of contemporary and traditional worship cultures
  • Ordained by a Denomination or Association acceptable to Trinity Christian Fellowship
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other staff members and volunteers.
  • Commitment to the values and doctrines of Trinity Chrisitan Fellowship.
