Area Director

Young Life Boston is seeking an ecumenically minded, entrepreneurial, mission-driven Area Director to lead ministry in Downtown Boston and the neighborhoods that border the Charles River. This leader will have a deep love for Jesus, a genuine passion for adolescents, and a vision for building thriving ministry through relationships, volunteer leadership, and community partnerships. Because Young Life is an incarnational ministry, this role requires someone who is committed to living in the city proper, investing daily in the neighborhoods, schools, and communities they serve. Due to the relational nature and rhythms of the ministry, this is not a commuter position. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in a diverse, urban environment and enjoys pioneering new opportunities. We are looking for someone who has experience in fundraising, managing volunteers and is excited to work with teenagers so that more kids in Boston come to know Jesus.
