Green Lake Coordinator

The Green Lake Coordinator contributes to a culture of hospitality, engagement and staff support through vital behind-the- scenes expertise ensuring consistent processes, accurate information flow, and effective organizational coordination.

Location: Bethany Green Lake
Reports to: Senior Associate Pastor

Kay Responsibilities

● Facilitate Green Lake communications in collaboration with Green Lake staff and BCC
Communications Department
o Manage and update calendar for Green Lake ministries and facilities,
anticipating dynamics of special events, holidays, worship services
o Utilize Bethany’s channels of communication with the Green Lake congregation
o Track communication requests and create communication content, as needed
● Provide administrative support for location-wide events and spiritual formation ministry
(groups, classes, and Bible studies)
● Provide operational leadership and collaborate with the BCC Churchwide Coordinator,
Green Lake Facilities manager, and other leadership to accomplish the mission and
vision of BCC for ministries and events that involve the Green Lake facility, offices, staff or
volunteer teams
● Perform other duties as a member of the Bethany Green Lake and Bethany Community
Church Staff, or as the situation arises/assigned by supervisor

Position Qualifications

● Maintains a religious life of personal and spiritual development and accountability
demonstrating the virtues and qualities of a devoted follower of Jesus Christ.
● A loyal team player able to make a positive contribution to staff culture that aspires to
excellence, teamwork, and servant leadership as demonstrated by Christ
● Understanding and alignment with Bethany’s Foundations of Faith, found here
● Demonstrate an ability to take initiative, manage time, set goals and priorities,
● Excellent communication skills
● Strong organizational and project-management skills with the ability to manage complex
workflows and prioritize competing deadlines involving both projects and people

● Proficiency in tools such as MS suite, Google platforms, Adobe, Canva, etc. preferred
● Ability to interact with a variety of individuals and constituencies with emotional maturity
and manage sensitive, confidential information

Other Specifications

Work Schedule: Typical work schedule is accomplished Monday- Thursday, 22 hours/week
Physical Demands: Must be able to work in an office environment, often at a computer
workstation. Must be able to move between buildings on campus. Must
be able to lift small boxes and/or equipment up to 25lbs

Working Conditions: Job duties may require additional hours and availability outside normal
working hours. May require flexibility to adjust work schedule from time to
time to work earlier or later than regular schedule. Must be able to adapt
to changing priorities in real time based on shifting demands.
Non-smoking buildings and environment

Compensation: $26-28/hr
Benefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work at least 21 hours per work week
are eligible for holiday pay, optional cell phone plan, paid vacation and
sick time as well as any additional benefits as outlined in the BCC Employee Handbook
