Pastoral Resident

Madison Avenue Presbyterian Church (MAPC) invites applications for its two-year Pastoral Residency Program, designed for recent seminary graduates to develop their skills for ministry and grow in their pastoral identity in a congregational setting. This program offers broad and intentional exposure to the daily life of an active church, providing residents with practical experience and theological reflection across a variety of areas in pastoral ministry. Located in Manhattan’s Upper East Side, MAPC draws members and program participants from throughout the city and surrounding areas, and as a congregation, is excited to embrace its tradition of being a “teaching church” that welcomes, prepares, and sends early career ministers on to further service in the church.
