Ministry Resident

Role Description

The Vox Residency provides Residents with a practical experience of vocational ministry through a practicum program wherein Residents work part time for either 10 months or two years. Residents will leave the year having gained clarity in their calling and development in a specific ministry area to which they feel led.

Resident positions best suited for college students or others considering ministry. The educational aspect of this program is college-level.

Attributes of a Ministry Resident:

• Demonstrates a deep and growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
• Feels a clear call to ministry on their life.
• Exhibits humility, teachability, and a collaborative spirit.
• Possesses strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Displays initiative, reliability, and a servant-hearted attitude.
• Experience serving in the church.

Responsibilities may include:

• Supporting weekly ministry operations and services.
• Assisting with planning and execution of ministry events and gatherings.
• Building relationships with volunteers and participants.
• Participating in staff meetings, trainings, and development opportunities.
• Contributing to a culture of prayer, excellence, and community within the ministry team.
